Description
Barron Hall and Robmat Butler, M.F.A. Graduates from the University of Tennessee, are The Art-Team, “a duo dedicated to creating site based installations referencing memories tied to the objects of everyday life. They create active spaces placing the viewers in physical roles, forcing them to become more aware of their surroundings and actions.”
In the Guardrail sketches not only do we seek to force our viewers into a moveable cattle type situation, but were are very interested in the interaction with a piece of roadway equipment that we deal with on a daily basis as we drive by them in our cars. In our exhibit you get up close and personal with this object that is usually filtered away from our actuality.
